Biography
Dr. Naqibullah Hamdard serves as Director of National AIDS and Hepatitis Control Program in Ministry of Public Health in Afghanistan. Dr. Naqibullah Hamdard is a medical doctor. He has been graduated from Avicenna Medical Faculty. He has completed Master of Science in International Health from Heidelberg University in Germany. He is a fellow of Field Epidemiology Training Program-FETP from CDC Atalanta. He has completed a 2nd fellowship from Wageningen University in Netherlands. Dr. Hamdard has 14 years of progress experience in public health. He has worked as program manager, public health senior technical advisor, and program director in Polio Eradication Initiative, Management Sciences for Health, and Ministry of Public Health in communicable diseases control, health system strengthening, program management, health care quality improvement, health M and E and health information system. Dr. hamdard has also served as lecturer in Balkh Medical and Pharmacy Faculties. He has published articles in Use of ICT for Development in health system, health information system for decision making, KAP in maternal health, men and women knowledge on mothers health.
